Indonesia's Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) under the Ministry of Finance has issued an urgent reminder for all civil servants (ASN) and TNI/Polri members to register for the Coretax tax administration system. The registration deadline is set for December 31, 2025, as mandated by the Circular Letter from the Minister of PANRB Number 7 of 2025.
The registration process involves not only creating an account but also completing mandatory verification procedures. Civil servants must ensure they have: 1. A registered Coretax account, 2. Completed account verification as a taxpayer, 3. Obtained an electronic authority code/electronic certificate (KO/SE).
Successful registration and verification will enable these public servants to file their annual personal income tax returns through the Coretax system starting from the 2025 tax year. The DJP emphasizes that this modernization effort is crucial for streamlining tax administration and improving compliance among taxpayer segments.
The DJP has been proactive in communicating these requirements through official channels, including their Instagram account (@ditjenpajakri). The tax authority stresses that compliance with this registration is mandatory for all affected personnel, marking a significant step in Indonesia's tax administration digital transformation.
