The Jakarta Airport Toll Road, also known as Tol Sedyatmo or Tol Bandara Soetta, has been affected by flooding in several sections due to the high rainfall in the Jabodetabek area since Saturday, January 17, 2026. Jasa Marga, the operator of the toll road, has issued an apology for the inconvenience caused by this incident.
As of 06:45 WIB on January 18, 2026, Jasa Marga reported that there were still two areas experiencing flooding: Off Ramp-GT Pluit 3 and KM 31+000 A Off Ramp Rawa Bokor. The initial detection of flooding occurred at Gerbang Tol (GT) Pluit 3 at 04:12 WIB, prompting immediate response from the maintenance team to ensure that the drainage pumps were operating normally.
According to Ginanjar Bekti R, Senior Manager Representative Office 2 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Plaza Tol Cililitan, the continuous heavy rainfall led to a significant overflow of water from the surrounding areas into the toll road's drainage system, resulting in the flooding. Despite the maintenance team's efforts to manage the situation, the high volume of water caused the flooding to persist in certain areas.
Jasa Marga has been working to address the flooding by ensuring that their drainage systems are functioning properly and by directing users to alternative routes to minimize disruptions. The company has urged users to seek alternative paths until the flooding is resolved.
