Jasa Marga Reports Significant Increase in Traffic During New Year Holiday

Traffic Volume Surges 19.93%

PT Jasa Marga Tbk recorded a total of 509,351 vehicles returning to the Jabodetabek area during the 2026 New Year holiday period, from January 1, 2026, at 06:00 WIB to January 4, 2026, at 06:00 WIB. This represents a significant increase of 19.93% compared to the normal traffic volume of 424,696 vehicles.

Traffic Distribution by Direction

The data collected from the four main toll gates - Cikupa, Ciawi, Cikampek Utama, and Kalihurip Utama - showed that the majority of vehicles returning to Jabodetabek came from the east (Trans Java and Bandung), totaling 239,863 vehicles or 47.09% of the total traffic. Vehicles from the west (Merak) accounted for 138,829 vehicles (27.26%), while those from the south (Puncak) made up 130,659 vehicles (25.65%).
