This represents 23.92% of the total 2,998,128 available seats for the period between December 18, 2025, and January 4, 2026. The high demand indicates strong travel activity during the holiday season, particularly on routes connecting major cities.

According to Anne Purba, Vice President of Corporate Communications at KAI, the most popular routes include connections between Jakarta and other key destinations. The Jakarta-Surabaya route is particularly popular, as it links customers to various tourist attractions and family gatherings during the holiday period. These routes serve as primary mobility corridors, facilitating both leisure and family visits.
