LRT Jabodebek Introduces Special Tariff During Holiday Season

Discounted Fares for Christmas and New Year

LRT Jabodebek is implementing a special tariff scheme during the Christmas and New Year holiday period. From December 25 to 28, 2025, and on January 1, 2026, passengers will enjoy discounted fares ranging from Rp 5,000 to Rp 10,000. This special pricing is part of their weekend service tariff structure.

Regular Fares on New Year's Eve

On December 31, 2025, the regular fare structure will be in effect, with prices determined by distance and travel time, capped at a maximum of Rp 20,000. The management has decided to maintain regular pricing for this specific date to reflect typical peak hour and distance-based charging.

Extended Service Hours for New Year's Celebration

To accommodate the public's need to travel during New Year's celebrations, LRT Jabodebek will extend its operational hours until 01:44 WIB on January 1, 2026. This extended service is designed to facilitate the mobility of people celebrating the New Year.

Operational Readiness During Holiday Season

To prepare for the anticipated surge in passengers during the holiday season, LRT Jabodebek has made several operational adjustments. During weekdays in December, they have deployed 26 trainsets with 430 trips, while on holidays, they will operate 18 trainsets with 270 trips. Additionally, the company has mobilized a total of 1,419 personnel across various roles including train attendants, station officers, ticketing officers, and security personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Radhitya Mardika Putra, Manager Public Relations LRT Jabodebek, explained that the tariff adjustment is made considering the period falls under national holidays and joint leave. He emphasized that during weekends, the maximum fare is typically Rp 10,000. The management's decision reflects their commitment to providing affordable and reliable transportation services during peak travel periods.
