PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), the operator of LRT Jabodebek, is set to conduct a trial run of additional train schedules from November 11 to November 30, 2025. This initiative aims to improve the frequency of LRT services and reduce the waiting time between trains.
During the trial period, KAI, along with relevant stakeholders, will conduct real-time monitoring of the performance of each train journey. The primary objective is to ensure that the LRT Jabodebek services remain safe, smooth, and comfortable for passengers.
The additional train schedules and increased number of trainsets are expected to enhance the overall passenger experience by providing more frequent services and reducing waiting times. This development is particularly beneficial during peak hours when passenger traffic is highest. The success of this trial could lead to a permanent adoption of the new schedule, further improving the efficiency of LRT Jabodebek's operations.
