LRT Jabodebek to Enhance Service with Additional Train Schedules

Trial Period: November 11-30, 2025

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), the operator of LRT Jabodebek, is set to conduct a trial run of additional train schedules from November 11 to November 30, 2025. This initiative aims to improve the frequency of LRT services and reduce the waiting time between trains.

Key Enhancements During the Trial

1. Increased Daily Trips: The number of LRT Jabodebek trips on weekdays will rise from 396 to 430.
2. Additional Trainsets: The total number of trainsets in operation will increase from 24 to 26.
3. Reduced Waiting Time: The waiting time (headway) between trains during peak hours will be significantly reduced:
   • On the Jatimulya/Harjamukti to Cawang route (and vice versa), the waiting time will be 8 minutes and 15 seconds.
   • On the Cawang to Dukuh Atas BNI route, the waiting time will be 4 minutes and 7.5 seconds.

Monitoring and Evaluation

During the trial period, KAI, along with relevant stakeholders, will conduct real-time monitoring of the performance of each train journey. The primary objective is to ensure that the LRT Jabodebek services remain safe, smooth, and comfortable for passengers.
