During his visit to the KNMP project in Poncosari, Bantul, Trenggono observed that several aspects of the construction needed immediate improvement. He directed contractors to address these issues promptly, emphasizing that substandard work would not be tolerated.
The minister highlighted the importance of developing comprehensive facilities within the KNMP, including cold chain infrastructure, fishing support facilities, and community spaces. The project in Poncosari features various facilities such as management offices, supply kiosks, cold storage warehouses, ice factories, coolbox shelters, fishing gear repair workshops, and community centers. Trenggono ensured that all these facilities would be managed effectively by local cooperatives, enhancing the overall sustainability of the projects.
