Mayapada Healthcare Expands Tangerang Hospital with Comprehensive Oncology Center

Mayapada Hospital Tangerang (MHTG), part of Mayapada Healthcare group (PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk.) (IDX:SRAJ), has conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for its fourth tower expansion. The new building will house a state-of-the-art Oncology Center, significantly enhancing MHTG's cancer treatment capabilities. The development is part of Mayapada Healthcare's ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive healthcare services.

Advanced Facilities and Technology

The fourth tower will feature a total floor area of 7,643 m² across 9 floors and 1 basement. The initial phase will focus on developing the basement and three main floors, which will be dedicated to the integrated Oncology Center. This center will include:

• Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics services
• Advanced diagnostic technology: Digital PET Scan and SPECT-CT
• Radiation therapy with LINAC technology
• Chemotherapy services
• Inpatient facilities for oncology patients
• Specialized oncology clinics

Strategic Collaboration and Clinical Excellence

The development is supported by a strategic partnership with Apollo Hospitals India, which will facilitate clinical knowledge transfer and standardization of evidence-based protocols. Mayapada Healthcare's President Director & CEO, Navin Sonthalia, emphasized that this collaboration will further strengthen MHTG's position as a comprehensive cancer care provider. The hospital's existing Tumor Board, comprising multidisciplinary medical teams, will continue to develop personalized cancer treatment plans following international standards.

Future phases of the fourth tower development will include additional specialized services such as:

• Mayapada Eye Centre (MEC)
• Fertility services (IVF)
• Mental health services (Solace Clinic)
• Dental Center
• Thalassemia Center
• Nutrition and acupuncture services

The expansion will also increase the hospital's inpatient capacity, including Junior Suite rooms and specialized facilities for bone marrow transplantation.
