The visit included witnessing the lighting of electricity in Desa Hilisebua, Kecamatan Sogae'adu. Gibran emphasized that his presence was part of the government's direct oversight to ensure that the benefits of the program reached the community, particularly in improving household activities, education, and overall security and comfort.
The BPBL program is a manifestation of the government's commitment to providing electricity access to underprivileged communities without any cost to the beneficiaries. The allocation in Nias Regency is distributed across various sub-districts, with the highest number in Kecamatan Bawolato (143 households) and Gido (108 households).
