Bank Jatim has reported robust financial results, with net profit reaching Rp1.148 trillion by the end of Q3 2025. This represents a significant 23.51% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to Rp930.06 billion in the same period last year. The strong performance was primarily driven by a 29.25% growth in net interest income, which rose to Rp5.1 trillion from Rp3.94 trillion in September 2024.
Nurul Ghufron, former KPK commissioner (2019-2024), was appointed as an independent commissioner candidate during Bank Jatim's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2024 financial year on May 22, 2025. His appointment was subject to Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) approval. The withdrawal of his candidacy marks a significant development in the bank's leadership structure.
