The Financial Services Authority (OJK) honored Bisnis Indonesia with two prestigious awards at the 2025 Media Appreciation event held in Jakarta on December 2, 2025. The awards recognized the publication's exceptional performance in financial journalism, specifically in the categories of Most Productive National Economic Print Media and Most Productive Photo Reporting Media.
The ceremony, attended by numerous media executives, editors, and journalists from both national and regional outlets, highlighted the critical role of media in the financial services sector. OJK Chairman Mahendra Siregar expressed deep appreciation for the media's contributions, stating that their coverage had been instrumental in maintaining financial sector stability and protecting consumers. "Atas nama OJK, kami menyampaikan penghargaan dan terima kasih kepada seluruh Pemred, Redaktur dan insan media massa di nasional maupun di daerah atas seluruh liputannya," Mahendra said.
Friderica Widyasari Dewi, OJK's Head of Executive Office for Supervision of Financial Services Behavior, Education, and Consumer Protection, emphasized the strategic importance of media collaboration in promoting financial literacy and industry growth. She noted that the partnership between OJK and media outlets was crucial for creating a robust, trustworthy, and beneficial financial services industry in Indonesia.
In addition to honoring Bisnis Indonesia, OJK recognized three Financial Literacy Media Ambassadors for their active role in educating the public about financial matters through various digital channels. Fahmi Ahmad Burhan, a reporter from Bisnis Indonesia, also received the second runner-up award in the Journalist Article Writing Competition organized by OJK.
