PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas has implemented a comprehensive waiver of service fees for containers carrying disaster relief supplies to the affected regions of Aceh and Sumatra. The decision, effective from December 1, 2025, includes the exemption of container handling charges, stacking fees, receiving services, and delivery services at all terminals managed by the company.

Supporting Disaster Response Efforts

Corporate Secretary Widyaswendra stated that this initiative is part of Pelindo's support for the government's and community's disaster response efforts. The policy applies to both loading and unloading terminals operated by Pelindo, ensuring seamless support throughout the relief supply chain.

Implementation Details

The fee waiver covers multiple critical services:

1. Container Handling Charges: Costs associated with handling relief containers
2. Stacking Fees: Charges for storing containers at the terminal
3. Receiving Services: Fees for receiving relief containers at the port
4. Delivery Services: Costs for delivering containers to their final destination

By waiving these fees, Pelindo aims to facilitate the efficient and cost-effective delivery of disaster relief supplies to the affected areas.
