PT Pelni (Persero) is providing a 20% discount on economy class ship tickets during the upcoming Nataru holiday season. This promotion is specifically for journeys between December 17, 2025, and January 10, 2026. The discount is calculated based on the basic fare only, excluding insurance and port fees.

Budget Allocation and Passenger Capacity

The discount program has been allocated a budget of Rp 24.81 billion (approximately USD 1.65 million) to support 405,881 passengers. As of the announcement date, the realization of the discount had reached Rp 1.35 billion (5.46% of the total budget), with 19,566 passengers having purchased discounted tickets.

Ticket Purchase Guidelines

Passengers can purchase discounted tickets starting November 21, 2025, through all official PT Pelni ticket channels. The discount will be available until the allocated budget is fully utilized or until January 10, 2026, whichever comes first. Passengers are required to ensure their ticket details match their identification to avoid cancellation.

Significance of the Promotion

This marks the first time Pelni has received an assignment to provide discounted tickets for the Nataru holiday period. The initiative aims to make sea travel more affordable during peak season while managing passenger demand within the allocated budget.
