Pertamina Patra Niaga has implemented a comprehensive strategy to accelerate the distribution of fuel (BBM) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to areas affected by the recent floods and landslides in Aceh. The recovery efforts are being carried out through various transportation modes including sea, land, and air to ensure widespread coverage ¹

Sea Transport Reinforcement

The company has deployed significant resources through sea transport, including the arrival of the ship Wira Loewisa at Ulee Lheue Port carrying 9 LPG skid tanks with 135 MT capacity (105 MT subsidized and 30 MT non-subsidized) from Lhokseumawe Integrated Terminal. This shipment served as a crucial supplement to the region's LPG supply, particularly as land access remained challenging ¹

Land Distribution Optimization

On land, Pertamina has been working intensively to normalize fuel station operations. As of recent observations, long queues at SPBUs have begun to dissipate thanks to optimized supply and operational management. The company's efforts have been supported by various stakeholders including the Indonesian military (TNI), police (Polri), and local government authorities ¹

Air Transport for Isolated Areas

For regions that remain inaccessible by land, Pertamina has effectively utilized air transport. The company has employed pioneer aircraft and Hercules planes to deliver fuel to isolated areas such as Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah, ensuring that energy supply reaches all affected communities ²
