One month after the disaster hit Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, Pertamina has distributed humanitarian aid to 86,289 people. The aid includes basic necessities, logistical support, and health supplies. The humanitarian operation involves 382 Pertamina Peduli volunteers deployed in four batches since the early days of the disaster. These volunteers have been instrumental in logistics distribution, managing community kitchens and refugee posts, and providing community support.
Pertamina has also deployed 72 medical personnel (24 doctors and 48 nurses) who have provided direct medical services to 1,312 people. The entire relief effort is a result of collaboration with various stakeholders including the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, BP BUMN, TNI, Police, BNPB, BPBD, local governments, and non-governmental organizations.
