PT Pertamina EP (PEP) Adera Field has made a significant new oil discovery with well ABB-143 (U1) showing a potential output of 3,442 barrels of oil per day (BOPD). The discovery was confirmed through a two-hour test conducted on December 30, 2025, between 14:30 and 16:30 WIB.

Testing Methodology and Results

The two-hour test was considered representative of stable flow conditions. The initial flow test was designed to determine the well's maximum deliverability without artificial assistance. It's important to note that this test result is not indicative of long-term daily production but serves as a crucial baseline for assessing well performance and reservoir characteristics.
