Pertamina Expedites Fuel Distribution to Disaster Areas in Aceh

Emergency Distribution Measures

Pertamina Patra Niaga has implemented emergency distribution measures to supply fuel to disaster-affected areas in Bener Meriah and Aceh Tengah. Due to limited land access, the company is utilizing Air Tractor aircraft to transport fuel, ensuring continuous supply to support both emergency operations and local community needs.

Distribution Progress

The air distribution operation, which commenced on December 13, 2025, is being conducted daily when weather conditions permit. As of December 19, 2025, Pertamina has successfully delivered fuel to multiple gas stations in the affected regions, including:

• SPBU 13.245.409 and SPBU 14.245.464 in Bener Meriah (delivered on December 16 and 18)
• SPBU 14.245.438 and SPBU 14.245.499 in Aceh Tengah (delivered on December 19)

Operational Adaptation

Pertamina's Area Manager for Communication, Relation & CSR, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw, stated that the distribution is being carried out in stages, adapting to the prevailing field conditions. Initially, fuel supply was prioritized for heavy equipment used in disaster response operations. As land access improves, distribution is being expanded to include local gas stations, ensuring broader community access to fuel.
