Pertamina Hulu Energi Boosts Oil and Gas Production for Year-End Demand

Strategic Production Projection

Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), the upstream subholding of Pertamina, is projecting to achieve 25.5 million barrels of oil and gas production combined during November and December 2025. This strategic projection is designed to meet the increased domestic demand during the year-end period, particularly during the holiday season.

Current Production Performance

As of October 2025, PHE has recorded an average daily oil production of 556,000 barrels and gas production of 2.762 million cubic feet per day. These production figures demonstrate the company's significant contribution to Indonesia's energy supply. The projected increase for November-December is part of PHE's effort to maintain energy security during the peak demand period.

Infrastructure Readiness

To ensure the smooth distribution of the projected oil and gas production, PHE is preparing its infrastructure comprehensively. The company plans to distribute the energy through 113 cargo shipments and 104 distributions via pipelines and trucking. These will be delivered to various receiving facilities across the country, supporting both industrial and domestic needs.
