Air Transport for Hard-to-Reach Areas

For regions inaccessible by land, Pertamina has utilized air transport, including Air Tractor planes, to deliver fuel. Each Air Tractor flight can carry up to 3.5 KL of Biosolar or 4 KL of Gasoline. Impact on Aviation Fuel Consumption

The disaster response efforts have led to a significant increase in aviation fuel (Avtur) consumption. At Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, daily Avtur consumption rose from 51.2 KL to 114.4 KL, representing a 223% increase from normal levels. Regionally, total daily Avtur consumption across all Aviation Fuel Terminals operated by Pertamina in North Sumatra rose from 852 KL to over 1,000 KL ⁵
