Pertamina Patra Niaga Leads Relief Efforts Following North Sumatra Floods

Comprehensive Support for Affected Communities

Pertamina through its subsidiary Pertamina Patra Niaga has mobilized significant resources to support relief efforts following the recent floods and landslides in North Sumatra. The company's Director Utama, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, personally visited the disaster response center at BPBD Sumatera Utara in Medan to oversee the relief operations.

Humanitarian Aid Distribution

As of December 1, 2025, Pertamina Peduli has successfully distributed aid to various evacuation centers across multiple affected regions including Aceh Utara, Agam, Padang Pariaman, Lhokseumawe, Medan, Padang, Sibolga, and Tapanuli. The aid package included:

• 2,975 kg of rice
• 1,009 cartons of instant noodles
• 173 crates of eggs
• 118 cartons of biscuits
• 51 cartons of canned fish
• 115 boxes of cooking oil
• 552 cartons of mineral water
• 880 packs of instant meals
• 55 Bright Gas cylinders for community kitchens

In addition to basic necessities, the aid also included essential healthcare and hygiene items such as diapers for babies and adults, blankets, sleeping mats, women's and children's needs, and vitamins to maintain the health of affected communities.

Supporting Operational Logistics

To ensure smooth evacuation and distribution operations, Pertamina Patra Niaga has provided significant logistical support including:

• 22,600 liters of Dexlite
• 6,000 liters of Avtur
• 1,000 liters of Pertamax
• Evacuation vehicles and heavy equipment for BNPB and local governments

The company has also established a dedicated support system:

• Pertamina Contact Center: 135 for public inquiries about fuel and LPG in affected areas

Commitment to Recovery Efforts

Mars Ega Legowo Putra emphasized the company's commitment to supporting the recovery process, stating, "Recovery requires collaborative efforts and sustainability. We will continue to support and accelerate the restoration of energy supplies, particularly fuel and LPG, until the community fully recovers."
