PGN Deploys Special Task Force for Nataru 2025

Ensuring Smooth Natural Gas Distribution During Holiday Period

PT PGN Tbk, as Pertamina's Gas Subholding, has taken proactive measures to ensure the continuity of natural gas distribution during the 2025 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) period by deploying a special task force. This initiative demonstrates the company's commitment to maintaining operational reliability while meeting the energy needs of its diverse customer base.

Key Highlights of PGN's Nataru Preparations

• The task force will be operational from November 13, 2025, to January 11, 2026, covering the entire Nataru period
• PGN serves over 817,000 household customers, 2,845 small customers, 3,334 commercial and industrial customers, and power generation customers
• The Gas Subholding's infrastructure includes over 34,000 km of pipeline, 16 City Gas Filling Stations (SPBG), Metering Regulating Units (MRU), and 3 LNG terminals
• Compressed Natural Gas (BBG) distribution is projected to reach 24,500 LSP, marking a 34% increase from the 2024 Nataru period
• The task force includes a 24/7 Disturbance Handling Team (TPG) supported by real-time network pressure monitoring and regular facility patrols

Operational Security Measures

PGN's Corporate Secretary, Fajriyah Usman, emphasized that the company has prepared comprehensive operational security measures. These include strengthening Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) aspects to ensure that customers' natural gas needs are met satisfactorily during the holiday period. The task force coordinates closely with the Pertamina Oil and Gas Holding Nataru Task Force and the Joint Operations Command Post of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Infrastructure Readiness

PGN has ensured that all its infrastructure is operating at full capacity. This includes pipeline networks, SPBG, LNG terminals, and the Contact Center 135 service. The readiness of these facilities is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of community activities during the Christmas and New Year period.
