Successful Commencement of PPC-01 Well Production

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Jambi Merang, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), has announced the successful commencement of production from its exploratory well PPC-01 located in the Padang Pancuran structure. The well, situated in Kecamatan Bayung Lencir, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan, has exceeded its initial production target.

Exceeding Production Expectations

The PPC-01 well was initially expected to produce 400 BOPD. However, as of December 26, 2025, the actual production has reached 451.42 BOPD. This achievement not only demonstrates the technical capabilities of PHE Jambi Merang but also highlights the potential of the Padang Pancuran structure as a significant oil-producing area.
