While the majority of Aceh's villages have been reconnected, 68 villages (1.04%) remain without electricity. These villages are spread across eight districts, including Aceh Utara, Aceh Barat, Bireuen, Gayo Lues, Aceh Tamiang, Aceh Timur, Bener Meriah, and Aceh Tengah. PLN continues to work diligently to restore power to these remaining areas, ensuring that all communities are brought back online.
PLN's Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, highlighted that the restoration efforts began with the recovery of the main electricity system in Aceh, followed by a focused approach to normalize distribution networks reaching individual villages. The company's strategy has been to prioritize both speed and safety, ensuring that power is restored efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards for both workers and the local communities.
