PT PLN Unit Induk Distribusi Sumatera Utara has mobilized 701 personnel in response to the severe weather conditions affecting various regions in North Sumatra. The extreme weather has resulted in flooding and landslides, significantly impacting the electrical infrastructure across multiple areas including Medan, Binjai, Langkat, Deli Serdang, Karo, Tapanuli Selatan, Tapanuli Utara, Kota Sibolga, and Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah.

According to Surya Sahputra Sitepu, Manager of Komunikasi dan TJSL PLN UID Sumut, the team is conducting thorough assessments and implementing necessary safety measures to protect both the public and personnel.
