The program was carried out in three villages: Bogor, Bawak, and Soka.
The beneficiaries of this program expressed their gratitude for the improved living conditions. Ngadinem, a 77-year-old recipient, mentioned that having electricity at home has made her life more comfortable and independent. Previously, she had to rely on electricity from her neighbors. The availability of electricity has not only improved household lighting but also supported daily activities and potentially economic opportunities.
The Klaten Regent, Hamenang Wajar Ismoyo, highlighted the importance of electricity in enhancing community welfare and productivity, particularly in the agricultural sector. He emphasized that the collaboration between PLN and local government is a strategic step towards achieving equitable energy access and accelerating regional development. The regent also noted that electricity is crucial for irrigation systems that support local farming activities.
Suroso Isnandar, Director of Project Management and New Renewable Energy at PLN, stated that the presence of local government officials during the event demonstrated the strong synergy between PLN and regional authorities in promoting energy equity. He emphasized that providing electricity is not just about lighting homes but about improving lives and supporting national development. During this year's National Electricity Day, PLN connected over 8,000 new electricity connections across various regions in Indonesia.

This program underscores PLN's role in supporting Indonesia's development through enhanced energy infrastructure and accessibility.
