PNM Provides Critical Relief to Aceh Tamiang Communities

Comprehensive Aid Package Distributed

PNM, through its PNM Peduli program, has successfully delivered a comprehensive aid package to communities affected by recent natural disasters in Aceh Tamiang. The relief effort included 579kg of essential supplies, comprising clothing for women, men, children, and infants, as well as blankets, prayer equipment, hygiene products, and medical supplies.

Employee-Driven Initiative

The aid package was made possible through the collective efforts of PNM employees who came together to support the relief effort. This demonstrates the strong corporate culture and commitment to social responsibility within the organization. The supplies were carefully sorted and transported by air to ensure timely delivery and maintain the quality of the aid.

On-the-Ground Impact

The relief team encountered Qory, a beneficiary from Langsa, who had traveled 46 km on foot to receive the aid. The encounter highlighted the severity of the situation and the critical need for such relief efforts. Qory expressed gratitude not only for the aid received but also for the free health check and food supplies provided for his family.

The aid provided, while not replacing what was lost, aimed to offer hope and comfort to those affected.
