PTPP Accelerates Soekarno-Hatta Airport Terminal 1C Revitalization Project

Major Infrastructure Upgrade

PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) is expediting the Rp1.3 trillion revitalization of Terminal 1C at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. This significant infrastructure project, initiated on February 18, 2019, is scheduled for completion by April 30, 2025. The revitalization has now entered its final stages, with the terminal beginning to operate partially.

Enhanced Capacity and Features

The modernization effort will expand the terminal's service area from 48,212 m² to 68,168 m², significantly boosting passenger capacity from 3 million to 8 million annually. This upgrade is part of a broader initiative to increase the airport's total capacity from 9 million to 24 million passengers per year. The project embodies the government's Asta Cita agenda by creating a more efficient, sustainable airport that showcases Indonesian cultural heritage.
