Sampoerna has invested US$330 million in developing a state-of-the-art smoke-free tobacco product manufacturing facility in Karawang, West Java. This production site is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia and the seventh globally, equipped with a world-class Advanced Laboratory. The facility is supported by approximately 200 highly qualified Indonesian experts, including scientists, engineers, and support staff, demonstrating Sampoerna's commitment to developing superior human resources and science-based innovation.
