Through its subsidiaries, PT Semen Padang and PT Solusi Bangun Andalas, SIG has been actively providing disaster response assistance to the affected communities.

Extensive Relief Efforts in West Sumatra

In West Sumatra, SIG's Rapid Response Team (TRC) through PT Semen Padang collaborated with other joint teams to conduct evacuations and provide aid to victims. They also conducted needs assessments in the disaster areas. By Saturday, 29 November 2025, PT Semen Padang had distributed 1,600 food packages containing essential supplies such as rice, eggs, instant noodles, cooking oil, sugar, mineral water, and tarpaulins. The aid was delivered to five districts in Padang City, including Pauh, Koto Tengah, Nanggalo, Kuranji, and Lubuk Kilangan.

Medical and Logistical Support

PT Semen Padang established Disaster Response Posts equipped with tents, electrical equipment, cleaning supplies, heavy machinery including clean water transport trucks, medicines, and communication equipment. They also deployed medical teams through Semen Padang Hospital to provide health services in Pauh District, Padang City, and Palembayan District, Agam Regency. In Palembayan, a public kitchen will be operated to support the nutritional needs of refugees and volunteers during the emergency response period.

Aid Distribution in Aceh

In Aceh, through PT Solusi Bangun Andalas, SIG provided 738 food packages containing rice, canned sardines, instant noodles, and biscuits to several districts across six regencies/cities, including Banda Aceh City, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Utara Regency, Pidie Jaya Regency, and Bireuen Regency.

Corporate Commitment to Social Responsibility

SIG's CEO, Indrieffouny Indra, expressed deep concern over the disaster and condolences to the families of the victims. He emphasized that the company's assistance is a manifestation of its commitment to being present in the community during times of crisis. 'We continue to optimize the distribution of aid evenly and on target, so it can alleviate the burden on the victims.
