The decision to offer these discounts is part of Hutama Karya's strategy to support government initiatives aimed at ensuring smooth and efficient travel during the peak holiday season. According to Mardiansyah, Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Hutama Karya, the company has proposed this discount scheme to the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) and is prepared to implement it in line with government directives.

Hutama Karya is anticipating a significant increase in traffic volume during the holiday period, with projections showing a 30% rise in outbound traffic and a 34% increase in return traffic compared to normal conditions. In preparation for this surge, the company is enhancing its operational readiness and inter-agency coordination along the JTTS corridor to ensure a seamless travel experience for motorists.
