Collaborative Effort for Temporary Housing

In response to the recent disaster in Aceh Tamiang, state-owned construction companies have joined forces to build 600 temporary housing units. PT Hutama Karya (Persero), a leading state-owned construction company, is at the forefront of this initiative. The company plans to construct 120 units of temporary housing on a 52,581 m² plot of land located along Jalan Banda Aceh-Medan, Kebun Tj. Seumantoh, in the Karang Baru sub-district of Aceh Tamiang.

Innovative Construction Methods for Rapid Deployment

The temporary housing units will be built using light steel frame construction methods, chosen for their durability and ability to be deployed quickly. The design includes essential features such as communal kitchens, washing areas, mosques, and complete sanitation systems. Each housing unit will range from 12 to 30 m² in size, ensuring a functional living space for the affected communities.
