PT Hutama Karya (Persero) has made significant progress in the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) project, completing approximately 1,235 kilometers of the infrastructure. This achievement includes both fully operational sections and those currently under construction. The progress marks a crucial milestone in enhancing Sumatra's transportation network and connectivity.

Operational Sections

Several key sections are already operational, including:

• Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar (140 km)
• Terbanggi Besar-Pematang Panggang-Kayu Agung (189 km)
• Palembang-Indralaya (22 km)
• Indralaya-Prabumulih (64 km)
• Betung-Jambi Seksi 3 (52.1 km)
• Other significant sections totaling over 900 km of operational toll roads

Ongoing Development

The state-owned enterprise is currently prioritizing the completion of Betung-Tempino-Jambi Seksi 1 (62.4 km), which will create an alternative route connecting Banyuasin and Musi Banyuasin regencies. This upcoming section is expected to further enhance regional connectivity and support economic development in southern Sumatra.
