Business Model and Operations

The cooperative operates by collecting plastic bottles from various sources including waste collectors, recycling banks, partner companies, and local businesses. They process approximately 6 tons of plastic bottles daily, which are then crushed and pressed into bales for sale ²

The cooperative has created a significant positive impact on its 59 members, who are mostly former waste collectors. Members now enjoy stable monthly incomes and additional benefits, including access to social security programs like BPJS ¹
