To support critical operations during this crisis, Telkomsat is providing emergency Internet Merah Putih (IMP) services and low-orbit satellite connectivity. These services are crucial for maintaining communication channels for government agencies, disaster response teams, business entities, and security personnel operating in the affected regions.
The company has deployed 19 technical personnel to ensure the readiness and stability of their satellite services during this emergency period. These technicians are responsible for maintaining equipment, conducting regular monitoring, and ensuring that all satellite services function optimally despite the challenging conditions.
"In disaster situations like this, connectivity reliability is a critical need that cannot be delayed," said Fino Arfiantono, VP Corporate Secretary of Telkomsat. The restoration of these connectivity points is essential for coordinating relief efforts and maintaining essential communications infrastructure during the disaster response phase.
