The top 10 Indonesian banks by net profit in Q3 2025 were led by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) with a net profit of Rp43.41 trillion, followed by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) with Rp41.37 trillion and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) with Rp41.23 trillion. The third quarter of 2025 has shown varied financial performance across Indonesia's top banks. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) maintained its position as the leading bank with a net profit of Rp43.41 trillion, representing a 5.66% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to Rp41.08 trillion in the same period last year. This performance was driven by a 4.93% YoY growth in net interest income to Rp64.09 trillion. BCA's loan disbursement reached Rp931.87 trillion, growing 7.52% YoY, while third-party funds (DPK) stood at Rp1,204.73 trillion, a 7.03% YoY increase. \\\\\\\\\
PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), the second-largest bank by net profit, reported Rp41.37 trillion in net profit, a 10.22% YoY decline from Rp46.08 trillion. Despite the decline, the bank's net interest income grew 3.50% YoY to Rp78.55 trillion. Mandiri's loan portfolio expanded by 11.56% YoY to Rp1,720.25 trillion, while DPK grew 13.00% YoY to Rp1,884.18 trillion.
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), the third-largest, recorded a net profit of Rp41.23 trillion, a 9.10% YoY decrease from Rp45.36 trillion. Despite the profit decline, BRI's net interest income grew 1.93% YoY to Rp111.97 trillion. The bank's loan disbursement grew 7.65% YoY to Rp1,379.68 trillion, and DPK increased 8.25% YoY to Rp1,474.78 trillion.
The top banks maintained strong capital adequacy ratios (CAR), with BCA at 29.94%, Mandiri at 19.04%, and BRI at 23.01%. Asset quality showed mixed results, with some banks experiencing increases in non-performing loans (NPL) while others saw improvements. The overall performance reflects the banks' resilience amid economic challenges.
