The event, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), provided a platform for these Indonesian businesses to showcase their innovative products to a global audience.
MYCL attracted considerable attention with their vegan leather products made from mushrooms and seaweed. This eco-friendly material is gaining traction in the global fashion industry as brands seek sustainable alternatives to traditional leather. During the three-day exhibition, MYCL recorded potential transactions worth AUD 23,000 from prospective partners from Australia, India, and Vietnam. This was MYCL's second participation in GSE, demonstrating their commitment to expanding their international market presence.
Alongside MYCL, Nicole's Natural showcased their minimalist wooden products, bringing a touch of Bandung's craftsmanship to Australian retail. Their participation in the Indonesian pavilion helped promote Indonesian culture and products abroad.
