Victims of the alleged investment scam operated by PT Fikasa Grup and its associated entities have approached Indonesia's House of Representatives (DPR) seeking resolution to their case, which has been ongoing since 2019. The victims were lured with promises of high returns ranging between 10% to 15% per annum on their investments in various Fikasa Group entities, including PT Wahana Bersama Nusantara (WBN), PT Tiara Global Propertindo (TGP), and Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Alto (Kospina).
The alleged scam involved several key individuals associated with Fikasa Group, including Agung Salim, Bhakti Salim, Elly Salim, Dewi Salim, and Christina Salim. These individuals were presented as key management personnel of Fikasa Group, lending credibility to the investment schemes. The victims were provided with Promissory Notes (Bilyet) signed by the management, ostensibly as a guarantee for their investments.
The modus operandi involved collecting funds from investors by promising high returns and showcasing the supposed legitimacy of their business operations. The funds collected were allegedly invested in various businesses, including real estate and water supply companies affiliated with Fikasa Group. However, the victims have yet to receive any returns or refunds on their investments.
The victims, represented by their lawyer Saiful Anam, have brought their grievances to Komisi XI of the DPR, seeking legislative intervention to resolve the case. The legal representative highlighted that despite the promises made, the victims have not received any assurance regarding the return of their investments from the entities involved - WBN, TGP, and Kospina. The matter is currently under consideration by the parliamentary committee.
