The new series is designed to intensify the competition in the premium smartphone segment, particularly in camera capabilities. The X300 Pro model stands out with its 200 MP telephoto camera, while the standard X300 features a 50 MP telephoto camera.
Both models in the X300 series are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, ensuring high-performance processing for demanding applications. The devices also support 90W fast charging, enabling quick battery replenishment. The X300 is positioned as a more compact option with a 6.31-inch display and lighter weight, while the X300 Pro offers a larger 6.78-inch screen.
The camera capabilities of the Vivo X300 series have been developed in collaboration with Zeiss, a renowned optics company. Zeiss served as an optical consultant, particularly in aspects such as color calibration and tone mapping. This partnership continues Vivo's strategy of enhancing its camera technology through expert collaboration, as seen in previous X200 and X100 series.
The introduction of the Vivo X300 series is expected to heat up competition in Indonesia's premium smartphone market. Vivo's Product Manager, Hadie Mandala, stated that the X300 was designed to meet consumer demand for a compact yet powerful device.
